What is the Customs & Immigration Checkpoint procedure?
At the Departure terminal (leaving the country) for both Malaysia and Singapore checkpoints, all passengers are required to disembark with their passport and travel documents. Please ensure your personal belongings are brought along with you and you do not leave it on board.

At the Arrival terminal (entering the country) for both Malaysia and Singapore checkpoints, all passengers are required to disembark with their passport, travel documents, luggage and personal belongings.

Ensure that you collect the correct luggage from our Coach Captain who will assist to unload all luggage from the coach's luggage compartment. It is a passenger's responsibility to carry his/her luggage through the checkpoint and to ensure his/her luggage is collected correctly thereafter. Upon completion of the checkpoint process, proceed to the coach waiting area where you are to ensure your luggage is loaded onto the correct coach before you continue your journey.

Kindly note that Custom officials will inspect the coach upon the disembarkation of all passengers at both terminals to check for any harmful or suspicious looking articles/items inside the bus. Please therefore ensure you do not keep or leave behind any prohibited item(s) in the coach which are not allowed to be brought in to Malaysia or Singapore

Will the procedure for customs and immigration take long?
We use the Second Link via Tuas which is significantly smoother and easier travels during normal periods.

Please ensure you have the correct and necessary travel documents with you and your belongings are lawfully correct, and you'll be able to have a smooth procedure at both checkpoints. We would advise all visitors to a country to avoid unnecessary delay by completing and submitting the online Immigration Card before the arrival at the checkpoints.

Please note that visa on arrival at the checkpoints is not allowed for both entry into Malaysia and Singapore.

During school and public holidays, please take note that the traffic at both checkpoints will increase and your allowance of an extra travel time would be much appreciated. Ensuring your travel documents are accurate and your belongings are declared rightfully would help shorten the waiting time for you and all other passengers.

Do I need a visa?
Singaporeans and Malaysians do not need visas. However visa requirements do apply to many other nationalities. It is very important to check if visas are required for your journey because you may be refused entry without a visa and we cannot be held responsible for consequences if access is not granted or if access is delayed due to visa requirements.

We suggest you visit the relevant authorities in your own countries for clarification on visa requirements before you buy Aeroline tickets.

Will you wait for me at the customs if I am delayed by the officials?
We will not wait for you if the delay is caused by incomplete, incorrect or inadequate documentations at the Immigration checkpoint or if it is due to prohibited items being found in your possession by the Customs Officer.

Can I apply for a visa on arrival (VOA)?
Visa on arrival at the checkpoints is not allowed for both entry into Malaysia and Singapore. Please note that you are expected to have your visa applied and approved of prior to your entry into either country.
